The role of a father in a child’s life is like a candle: he shows the way through his light, and in doing so, often hides away the sacrifices he made to keep the child happy.

Fathers are the unsung heroes. They love us unconditionally, protect us, guide us and help us understand the ways of the world. To commemorate and appreciate the contribution of dads, nursery and kindergarten students of Apeejay School, Noida made beautiful momentos and decorative cards on the occasion of Father’s Day.

Marking respect for their beloved fathers, students from classes 1 to 5 created beautiful collages on A3 sheets as a token of love. Students designed creative table mats paired with emphatic quotations to be gifted to their fathers.

Some students also prepared short videos highlighting the most memorable time spent with their fathers. They performed their favourite activity together such as singing, dancing, cooking, gardening, reading, or any sports activity. These videos were compiled together and played on the day of celebration.

The school’s Principal, Mr. AK Sharma reminded students about the vital role their fathers play in the different stages of their lives. The Primary In-charge, Mrs. Smriti Samuel concluded the session by adding, “Fathers are always there to take responsibility for their children. They support and guide the child, despite all.”

“Father is every child’s first hero…an invisible pillar of strength, a constant source of courage and guidance. Father’s Day is the perfect occasion to express the immense gratitude, awe and love we have for our fathers.”

-Mr. AK Sharma, Principal, Apeejay School, Noida
