Parents like Ms Nahid Fatima place immense trust in a school that nurtures both academic excellence and personal growth. For her daughter, Aarifa Fatima, a student of Class XI at Apeejay School, Nerul, the decision was rooted in experience, continuity, and a strong belief in the institution’s values. With her son already having completed his schooling here. Over the years, Apeejay School has become more than a school for them. In a candid interview, the mother talks about how this is a place where stage fear turns into confidence, interests blossom into skills, and every student is encouraged to flourish with discipline and dignity.
How has your experience with the school been so far?
Amazing experience overall. Both my kids have been in Apeejay School since nursery, and my son has already graduated from the same school. My daughter is continuing here, too. Several of our relatives have studied here, showing our continued trust in the institute.
How have the teachers supported you during times of need?
The school is excellent, so I rarely faced any issues. Whenever I needed help, teachers responded promptly and clearly. I’ve always received guidance. For me, the school is safe and supportive, especially for girls, which matters a lot to caring parents.
What positive change have you noticed in your daughter?
She has overcome stage fright and grown confident in expressing herself. The school encourages participation, so she gets involved in many activities and speaks on stage. Seeing her voice her thoughts proudly has been a truly wonderful transformation for us.
How is she doing academically?
She is excellent in her studies and sincere about her subjects. I stay involved in her academics and guide her wherever needed. Her hard work, teachers’ support, and our monitoring keep her focused always, especially after choosing the demanding PCMB stream.
How do you manage her screen time along with studies?
We maintain strict screen discipline at home. We barely switch on the television, and she uses my phone only for a limited time. This helps her stay focused on studies, rest, and hobbies without distractions, creating a healthy, balanced lifestyle daily.
