At Apeejay School, Rama Mandi, parents often speak of teachers who genuinely care and an environment where children grow in confidence. Amandeep Kaur is the mother of Ranbir Singh Bansi, a student at the school. In this conversation, she explains why she chose Apeejay and what she has seen in her son since he joined.

Why did you choose Apeejay School, Rama Mandi?

The education is very good, and what impressed me most is the respect in the classroom. His teacher respects the children, and the children respect her in return. When a school builds that kind of mutual respect between teachers and students, children learn not only their lessons but also good values, and that mattered a great deal to me.

Is Ranbir involved in any sports activities?

Yes, he is. He plays volleyball and racket sports. The school encourages children to take part in sports alongside their studies. I am happy that Ranbir gets to enjoy and develop his skills in these games. Sports help children build fitness, teamwork and confidence, and I can see him benefiting from them.

Since Ranbir joined the school, have you seen improvement academically, in his personality or in sports?

Yes, very good improvement. His teacher is wonderful. She cares a lot for the children and teaches them very well. Her attention and encouragement have made a real difference to Ranbir. I have no complaints at all, and I have liked the school a lot ever since he joined.

Do you feel the school is safe and secure?

Yes, absolutely. It is clear to me that the school takes safety seriously. That gives me peace of mind, because as a parent I know my child is in a secure and well-supervised environment throughout the school day.
