An Engaging Workshop on Dental and Oral Hygiene

In order to create more awareness about oral and dental hygiene among students, the Interact Club of Apeejay Svran Global School, Sector 21D, Faridabad, organised a Dental & Oral Hygiene Workshop. The session provided a great opportunity for students to learn important things about preventing dental problems and maintaining oral hygiene. The initiative aimed at creating awareness among students about correct habits, like brushing their teeth in the proper way, types of food which are good for oral health, leading to more oral-health-conscious future generations.

During the workshop, the students were instructed on the appropriate way of brushing their teeth for effective cleaning. The role of flossing was discussed as an effective method for cleaning teeth when brushing fails to remove plaque and debris from between. The importance of a well-balanced diet was also discussed, as some foods are beneficial to keep teeth and gums healthy, while others are not.

Following the informative session, the students received individual oral examinations in the dental check-up camp. The individual check-ups were carried out by qualified dentists, who also gave a few general pieces of advice to maintain oral and dental health.

The Dental & Oral Hygiene Workshop initiative proved to be highly beneficial in teaching students the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene.
