Apeejay School, Tanda Road Elects Student Council Members for the Academic Year 2026-27
The newly elected student council will act as the representative voice of the students and connect them with the school administration
The Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar, successfully hosted its annual investiture ceremony to officially bestow duties and responsibilities on the newly elected student council. These members have been chosen to lead as well as uphold leadership qualities within the school.
The investiture began with a lamp lighting ceremony- an auspicious occasion, signifying divine blessings, and Ganesh Vandana, creating a solemn and conducive environment for the function. Thereafter, the Head Boy, Head Girl, Sports Captain and members of the House Prefectorial Board were invested with their responsibilities, highlighting the spirit of student governing.
Subsequently, students were sworn in as they pledged to continue adhering to the values of the school by practising integrity & dedication, and serving it in a positive and disciplined manner.
The Principal of Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar, Dr Rajesh Chandel, urged the students to set positive and moral examples by serving as a role model for the community, thus building a harmonious environment. This inspirational speech emphasised their role and responsibility for the well-being and betterment of the institution.
The function concluded with the hearty “Vote of Thanks”, followed by the singing of the National Anthem, while cheerfully inspiring everyone to nurture and protect the institution.
