How do you feel receiving the placement offer? What position have you been offered?

I feel very happy and grateful to receive this placement offer. It is a proud moment for me and my family because all the hard work during MBA finally paid off.

I have been offered the position of Relationship Manager in the Wealth and Trade Department at ICICI Bank. I am excited to start my professional journey with such a reputed organisation and learn new things in the banking and finance sector.

How did you prepare for your placements?

For placements, I focused on improving my communication skills, confidence, and basic knowledge related to my specialisation. I regularly practiced interview questions, worked on my resume, and stayed updated with current affairs and banking knowledge.

I also prepared by attending mock interviews and group discussions conducted by the college. Apart from that, my internships helped me understand how companies work and gave me practical experience, which helped me during interviews.

How did your teachers at Apeejay help you during the placement process?

The teachers at Apeejay were very supportive throughout the placement process. They guided us in resume building, interview preparation, and personality development.

They conducted mock interviews, gave feedback on our communication skills, and motivated us to stay confident. Whenever we had doubts regarding interviews or career decisions, our faculty members were always ready to help and support us.

Tips to crack a job interview

My advice would be to stay confident and be yourself during the interview. First, know everything written in your resume because interviewers mostly ask questions from it.

Second, improve your communication skills and practice common interview questions. Also, research about the company and the role before attending the interview.

Most importantly, stay calm, maintain a positive attitude, and answer honestly. Confidence and clarity make a big difference.

Your future aspirations

In the future, I want to grow professionally in the banking and financial sector. I want to learn more about wealth management, customer relationship management, and financial services.

My goal is to build a successful career, take higher responsibilities in the organisation, and continuously improve my skills. I also want to contribute positively to the company and achieve personal as well as professional growth.
