Apeejay Institute of Management and Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC), Jalandhar, recently celebrated International Labour Day, hosted by the HR club. The event aimed to appreciate the invaluable contributions of the support staff, whose constant integrity, commitment, and efforts have ensured the smooth functioning and continued success of the institute.

Dr Rajesh Bagga, Director, AIMETC, addressed the gathering and thanked all the staff members for their ongoing trust and support. He recognised the hard work of the staff and praised them for their important contributions to helping the institute achieve significant milestones.

Highlighting the theme for the International Labour Day 2026 celebrations, which was “Ensuring a Healthy Psychosocial Working Environment”, Dr Bagga stressed the need for a wider view of employee well-being that goes beyond just keeping the workplace physically safe. He highlighted that a healthy work environment must also protect employees’ mental and emotional health for overall well-being.

In addition to allowing the management an opportunity to thank the support staff, the event also celebrated their spirit of perseverance and hard work. It was also in line with the institute’s resolve to create a positive and welcoming workplace, where everyone feels inspired and appreciated.
