A morning assembly was conducted by the students of Class VII-A at Apeejay School, Noida, on the theme ‘kindness costs nothing, but changes everything’. The assembly was organised as part of the school’s ongoing effort to integrate value-based learning into daily school activities.
The programme began with the ‘thought of the day’, where students shared a brief message highlighting how small acts of kindness can influence others. This was followed by the presentation of news headlines. Students reported key national and international developments, adding an informative segment to the assembly.
As part of the cultural presentation, students recited an English poem focused on empathy and compassion. A Hindi poem was also presented, reinforcing the theme in a different linguistic and cultural context. Both recitations were delivered with clarity and confidence.
Students also delivered a short talk explaining the importance of kindness in everyday interactions. The talk outlined how simple gestures can contribute to a more supportive and respectful environment within the school.
A skit was presented to depict everyday situations where acts of kindness led to positive outcomes. The performance illustrated how behaviour and attitude can influence group dynamics and relationships among peers.

The Vice-principal, Ms Puneeta Bhasin, appreciated the efforts of the students and emphasised the importance of practising kindness in everyday life. She encouraged students to be empathetic, respectful, and supportive towards others, reminding them that even the smallest act of kindness can leave a lasting impact.
The assembly concluded with a coordinated close, with Class VII-A presenting a structured and well-organised programme. The event reflected the school’s continued focus on building awareness around essential values through student-led initiatives.
