Young achievers bring laurels to Apeejay School, Pitampura

Recently, Apeejay School, Pitampura, recorded notable achievements across Taekwondo, shooting, and academics, with several students earning medals and national recognition in recent competitions. Four students represented the school with strong performances at the Zonal Taekwondo Tournament, held at Lion Public School, Ashok Vihar.

Success at Zonal Taekwondo Tournament

Shanaya Gupta of Class VII D and Devishi Agrawal of Class VIII A secured silver medals. Vihan Garg of Class IX A and Aadhira Singh of Class VI A won bronze medals in their respective events.

The results brought together students from different classes who competed at the zonal level and returned with podium finishes.

Excelling in shooting

Akshar Aggarwal of Class IX C also registered significant achievements in shooting. He won a bronze medal in the Under 14 Pistol Category at the CBSE Central Zone Shooting Championship 2026. With this performance, he qualified for the CBSE National Shooting Championship 2026, which will be held at DPS, Nacharam, Telangana.

He also secured a silver medal in the Under 14 Air Pistol Category at the 6th Indian Revenue Open Shooting Championship 2026, held at Kalkaji Shooting Range, Delhi.

Science Olympiad achievement

Academic achievement also found a place among the recent accomplishments. Tejas Chandra of Class V, academic session 2025 to 2026, secured National Rank 6 in the Science Olympiad conducted as part of the Orange Global Olympiad. For his performance, he received a trophy along with a cash prize of Rs 1,100.

Together, these achievements reflect the effort and discipline shown by students across different fields. With Akshar now qualifying for the CBSE National Shooting Championship, the next stage of competition will offer another opportunity to carry this performance forward.
