Learning Beyond Classroom: Apeejay School, Noida organises excursion to KidZania

“Learning comes alive when children experience it firsthand.” Living up to this belief, Apeejay School, Noida, organised an educational excursion to KidZania, Noida. The activity was for students in Classes 3 to 5. A total of 292 students took part in the trip, designed to give them an opportunity to learn beyond the classroom. In the excursion, students experience interactive, hands-on approach and real-life role-play activities.

At KidZania, students enthusiastically immersed themselves in a variety of career-based activities, stepping into the shoes of professionals such as doctors, firefighters, chefs, pilots, police officers, and radio jockeys, among many others. These engaging, role-play-based experiences helped young learners understand the value of teamwork, responsibility, communication, and decision-making, while also boosting their confidence and self-esteem in a fun, real-world setting.

Adding to the day’s charm, students also enjoyed a meal together during the trip, creating a shared dining experience. The moment offered students a chance to bond with their friends in a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere, away from the structured routine of the classroom.

Throughout the visit, students displayed discipline, curiosity, and enthusiasm, fully embracing the spirit of experiential learning that the excursion was designed to foster. By stepping into various professional roles, children were able to explore career possibilities in an engaging manner. They also pick up practical life skills that go beyond conventional classroom teaching.
