Aarti Nanda, whose daughter Dhwani Nanda was enrolled in Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld Jalandhar last year, says she is very happy with the way the teachers are taking care of her daughter. The mother and homemaker says her daughter, who is now in upper kindergarten, has shown a lot of progress in academics as well as co-curricular activities. In an interview, Aarti tells us about her experience with online as well as offline classes. Edited excerpts:

What made you opt for Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld, Jalandhar?

We received very good feedback about the school from our acquaintances. One of our family members is a former teacher of Apeejay so we already had a fair idea about the school and its environment. We know that students who complete their schooling from Apeejay turn out to be well-established in their lives. After some research, we finally chose Apeejay for our daughter.

How has the experience been so far?

Dhwani was enrolled in the school in 2021, amid the pandemic. She began her journey at school with online classes. While it was a completely new experience, the way teachers managed the classes, it did not seem like they were interacting with children virtually. They engaged all students through various activities, including games.

Do the students feel comfortable?

Absolutely! Sometimes, parents felt anxious, but the teachers constantly reassured them while supporting and encouraging the students. Dhwani is enjoying her time at school. She also participates in co-curricular activities. We had never imagined that she would do so well, but the credit goes to the teachers for honing her talent. Recently, we also attended the on-campus Holi celebration, which was a great experience.

From thematic learning to activity-based classes, how are Apeejay’s methods of teaching benefitting your child?

Yes, Dhwani is still a little hesitant when it comes to speaking but she can read and write comfortably. As far as her communication skills are concerned, I am sure she will pick up very soon. The teachers make sure to not put too much burden on the kids but teach them new concepts through activities. The children enjoy their classes.

After Rhythms, will Dhwani continue studying in Apeejay?

Let’s see how she progresses. We are hoping to continue her schooling in Apeejay, in Model Town.
