AIMETC remembers Mrs. Rajeshwari Paul with devotion and gratitude
On the 14th Punyatithi, a soulful prayer meeting reflects on her enduring legacy of spirituality, compassion, and service
Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC), Jalandhar, solemnly observed the 14th Punyatithi of Smt. Rajeshwari Paul, beloved wife of Founder Chairman late Dr. Stya Paul, through a heartfelt prayer meeting marked by spiritual reflection, devotional fervour, and deep reverence. The gathering served as a tribute to the life and values of the First Lady of Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, whose legacy of compassion, faith, and humanity continues to inspire generations within the Apeejay family.
The prayer meeting commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the diya, symbolising peace, wisdom, and spiritual enlightenment. Director Dr. Rajesh Bagga, along with faculty members, offered floral tributes in fond remembrance of Smt. Rajeshwari Paul. Soulful bhajans and hymns filled the venue, creating a serene and spiritually uplifting atmosphere of devotion.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Rajesh Bagga highlighted Smt. Rajeshwari Paul’s deep spiritual inclination and her profound love for Indian Classical Music. He spoke about the significance of nurturing spiritual well-being amidst the demands and distractions of modern life. Encouraging everyone to maintain a balance between professional responsibilities and inner peace, he urged the audience to dedicate time each day to prayer, meditation, and self-reflection.
Dr. Bagga further shared touching memories of Smt. Rajeshwari Paul and Dr. Stya Paul, revealing that they had a temple constructed in their home where they often spent time together singing and listening to bhajans and hymns. Their shared devotion reflected the deeply rooted spiritual values that guided their lives and inspired those around them.
Speaking about her personality and contributions, Dr. Bagga described Smt. Rajeshwari Paul was a compassionate soul who actively participated in charitable and educational initiatives. He remarked that her spiritual temperament brought positivity, optimism, and hope into the lives of many people. “She was one of those rare individuals who rose above others to bring hope and faith to many, making their lives more beautiful,” he expressed.
