Apeejay Stya University Pays Reverent Tribute to Smt. Rajeshwari Paul, the First Lady of Apeejay Stya & Svran Group

Apeejay Stya University (ASU), Gurugram solemnly observed 14th Punya Tithi of Smt. Rajeshwari Paul, the beloved wife of Founder Chairman late Dr. Stya Paul and revered mother of Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairperson, Apeejay Education, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group and Chancellor of Apeejay Stya University with deep reverence, devotion, and heartfelt remembrance. The commemorative gathering brought together the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, faculty members, staff, and students, who assembled to pay tribute to the noble soul whose values and legacy continue to inspire generations across the Apeejay fraternity.
Late Smt. Rajeshwari Paul was fondly remembered for her graceful personality, humility, compassion, and selfless service towards society. Her life reflected simplicity, kindness, and dedication to human values, which continue to guide the ethos of Apeejay institutions.
The ceremony commenced with the traditional Deep Prajwalan followed by floral tributes offered by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor and members of the university community before the portrait of Late Smt. Rajeshwari Paul. The solemn atmosphere reflected the collective respect and admiration held for her enduring contributions and inspiring life journey.
Addressing the gathering, the Vice Chancellor spoke about the timeless ideals and noble values exemplified by Smt. Rajeshwari Paul. He highlighted her compassionate nature and her significant role in nurturing the spirit of humanity and service within the Apeejay family. He encouraged students and faculty members to imbibe her values of humility, kindness, and grace in their personal and professional lives.
Adding a spiritual essence to the programme, a soulful devotional bhajan was presented by Mr. Tarun. The devotional performance deeply touched the audience and enriched the solemnity of the occasion.
