While this parent was exploring the best schools in Faridabad, they came across Apeejay Svran Global School in Sector 21 D. The parent also spoke to people she knew and checked online for more clarity. “When we visited the school, we liked the premises and infrastructure. It was also close to our home, which was important for us at that time. Our interaction with the teachers was positive. When we looked at the school’s academic track record and focus on overall development, it helped us make the decision. We truly feel it was the right choice,” Pooja, mother of Paridhi Rawat, who is in senior KG, said.
In an impromptu interview, the mother talks about the positive changes in her daughter since joining this school.
How does choosing a nearby school help both parents and children?
Proximity makes a big difference. When the school is close to home, travel time reduces, which makes things more convenient for both the child and the parents. It also becomes easier if parents are managing pick-up and drop-off. You don’t have to depend much on transport like vans or buses.
How has your child adjusted to the school environment?
She adjusted very well, and I would give credit to the teachers and staff for that. She was new to the environment, but the teachers made sure she felt comfortable. Earlier, she was hesitant to speak and express herself, but now she communicates confidently with everyone.
What changes have you noticed in your child over time?
I have seen a lot of positive changes. She was quite shy initially, especially because we had switched her school. But now she has become much more confident. She has even taken on roles like hosting the junior KG assembly. That was something I was really happy to see. She has also started speaking in English more comfortably and forms small sentences on her own.
How does the school balance academics with co-curricular activities?
I appreciate the balance the school maintains. Along with academics, they focus on sports and other activities. My child has explored her interest in sports, especially lawn tennis and yoga. She participates with a lot of enthusiasm, which is great to see.

How has your experience been with the school’s communication and overall support?
The communication has been seamless. We are always informed about important updates in advance. The teachers mostly use WhatsApp, which is convenient and ensures we don’t miss anything.
What are your expectations going forward?
Academically, the school is already doing very well and will continue to support her growth. Going forward, I would like her to explore more activities like dance, possibly Kathak. She also really enjoys lawn tennis, so I would like her to receive more training in that area.
