Students of  Apeejay School, Pitampura recently organised an engaging morning assembly themed on “extinction of human values”. The students aimed to encourage their peers to imbibe values such as honesty, kindness, empathy, respect, integrity, and responsibility in their everyday lives. The young learners emphasised through their presentations that the change they wish to see in the world begins with the values they practise every day.

Following a general routine, the assembly commenced with the morning prayer, followed by the news section, providing students with an informative start to the day. This was followed by a positive affirmation, where students of section B motivated everyone to develop a positive outlook and a value-based mindset towards life and work.

The students also took the onus to initiate a thought-provoking talk highlighting the importance of human values in shaping character and building a compassionate society.

What remains the highlight of the assembly was a powerful skit, “A Day Without Values,” which showed how the absence of values in daily life affects individuals, relationships, and society. With the help of realistic situations and impactful performances, Apeejay students conveyed the message that values are the true essence of humanity and must be nurtured through conscious choices and actions.

The morning assembly concluded with a heartfelt message by the class teacher who urged everyone to uphold human values in every sphere of life.

Principal Mrs Veena Goel appreciated the efforts of the students in making the assembly informative, engaging and inspiring. She further urged the students to remember the meaningful takeaways shared in the assembly. Each acivity in the assembly emphasised how it is important to save human values before they become extinct.
