Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri hosts Inter House Solo Dance competition to mark Independence Day

Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri organised a grand celebration to mark the 80th year of Independence Day. As a part of the event, the school authorities held an Inter-House Solo Dance Competition for the middle wing. The event showcased the artistic talent, patriotic spirit, and confidence of the Apeejay students as they enthralled the audience with vibrant and expressive dance performances. 

The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students representing all four houses—Gautam, Kabir, Nanak, and Vivekananda. In the event, Kayna of Class 7, representing the Nanak House secured the first position with an outstanding performance that beautifully portrayed patriotism and dedication to nation.

The second position was jointly awarded to Tishya of Class 7 (Nanak House) and Riddhi of Class 7 from the Vivekananda House for their impressive performances, remarkable expressions, and rhythmic excellence.

The third position was shared by Naveesha of Class 7 (Vivekananda House) and Harshita of Class 7 (Nanak House), whose graceful presentations won appreciation from both the audience and the judges.

The consolation prize went to Barkha of Class 8 from Kabir House for her commendable effort and spirited performance. During the event, the participants presented captivating performances based on patriotic themes, reflecting their love for the nation through graceful movements, colourful costumes, and expressive choreography. The performances filled the atmosphere with pride, enthusiasm, and the spirit of unity.

The competition highlighted not only  dancing skills but also confidence, stage presence, creativity, and respect for the nation and its rich cultural heritage. Every participant performed with immense zeal, making the event memorable and inspiring.

The prize distribution ceremony was graced by the Principal, Dr. Vineet Vasishtha, who congratulated all the winners and participants. He distributed certificates to the winners and appreciated every performer for their dedication, hard work, and enthusiasm. Addressing the students, he encouraged them to continue nurturing their talents while remaining rooted in the values of patriotism, discipline, and excellence. He remarked that cultural activities provide an excellent platform for holistic development and strengthen the spirit of unity and national pride among young learners.
