Celebrating Freedom, Embracing Responsibility: Apeejay Dwarka Campus marks Independence Day
The campus celebration welcomes the new batch while inspiring students to become responsible and informed citizens
Members of Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication (AIMC) and Apeejay School of Management, Dwarka celebrated Independence Day with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm, bringing together the newly inducted batch of students, faculty members and staff for a special campus celebration. The occasion provided the new students an opportunity to experience the spirit of the Apeejay while reflecting on the values of freedom, responsibility and nation-building.
The celebrations commenced with the ceremonial hoisting of the National Flag by Prof. Ashok Ogra, Advisor, Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication; Prof. Sajal Mukherjee, Director, Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication; Dr. R.P. Hooda, Director, Apeejay School of Management; and Dr. Usha Ravi, Deputy Registrar, Apeejay Dwarka Campus. The National Song and Anthem were subsequently sung, with students, faculty and staff joining together in a strong expression of patriotism and national pride.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Sajal Mukherjee, Director, Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication, said, “Independence is not only a celebration of our freedom but also a reminder of the responsibilities that come with it. As students and educators, we have a role to play in building a responsible, informed and progressive society. I encourage our new students to make the most of their education, think independently and contribute meaningfully to the nation.”
The celebration concluded on a note of pride and optimism, with students and faculty reaffirming their commitment to the ideals of freedom, unity and responsible citizenship. The Independence Day celebration thus became a memorable occasion for the new batch, combining the spirit of patriotism with the values of education and nation-building.
