The first two days of summer camp at Apeejay School, Model Town, brought together technology, storytelling, art, and simple classroom joy. The camp began with activities planned around learning through play, imagination, and guided interaction. The focus was on helping young children think, create, listen, and express themselves with confidence.

On Day 1, the young campers began their journey at the Digital Den, where they explored educational games and digital art activities. The session introduced them to technology in a child-friendly way. It encouraged curiosity, problem-solving, and creative thinking while keeping the experience light and enjoyable.

The day also included Tales and Twists, a storytelling session that brought imagination into the classroom. Children wore colourful masks and interacted with props while listening to the story of the monkey and the crocodile. Through the familiar tale, they learnt about intelligence and presence of mind.

The blend of technology, props, masks, and storytelling made the first day engaging for the campers. It gave them a warm start and helped them connect with learning through movement, colour, and expression.

Day 2 continued with the same spirit of learning and fun. Campers returned to the Digital Den, where they enjoyed educational games and creative digital activities. The session helped them grow more comfortable with technology while also encouraging confidence and independent thinking.

The Tales and Twists session added another creative layer to the day. Children coloured butterfly worksheets and used colours to express their imagination. For young learners, such activities matter because they allow ideas to take shape in simple and personal ways.

The highlight of the day was the story of The Caterpillar, presented through a projector show and interactive narration by teachers. Through the story, children were introduced to ideas of growth, transformation, and patience.

Together, the first two days created a meaningful opening for the camp. With digital learning, art, storytelling, and cheerful participation, the campers experienced learning as something joyful and active.
