‘The school has helped my son become independent’
Apeejay School, Nerul, parent shares that the school has given her son a strong foundation to grow
This parent already had a strong connection with Apeejay School, Nerul, as his nephew had studied there. This familiarity built trust in the institution and gave the family confidence while choosing it for their son, knowing that the school would provide a supportive and reliable learning environment. Meet Savita Singh, whose son, Aayansh, is now in Class III here.
In an impromptu interview, the father talks about the biggest advantage the school has provided his son, among other things.
How has his progress been over these years?
My son has been studying at this school from the beginning. His progress has been very good. Every year, he is improving. Last time, he got five medals, including two silver, one bronze, and one gold. That made us very happy.
What do you think has been the biggest advantage for him since joining the school?
The school has given him a very strong foundation. I feel the education at the base level is very good, and the teachers are making the foundation strong for the children. My son has also joined activities like SportsGuru, and he also takes part in exhibitions. He participated in the Science exhibition as well.
Is there any moment when you felt especially proud of him?
I felt very proud when I saw him confidently giving speeches during the assembly. His confidence has grown, and that has been a very special thing for us. Also, he does everything very eagerly. I do not have to force him.
What difference have the teachers made in his growth?
The teachers have played a very important role in his growth. From junior classes to senior classes, every teacher has supported him and guided him well.
How has the parent-teacher communication been?
The communication has been very good. I am very friendly with all the teachers, and I do not have any complaints. I find the staff very supportive. Whenever I come to know about any issue or negativity in the parent group, I try to pass the message to the class teacher or coordinator so that it can be handled properly. I feel parents should approach the school or management directly instead of creating unnecessary problems.
How would you describe Aayansh’s journey in the school so far?
His journey has been value-added and well-disciplined. He has become punctual, and he does his work on time. He has improved a lot through hard work.
