Apeejay School, Faridabad successfully hosted the CBSE Capacity Building Programme (CBP) on National Curriculum Framework – Foundational Stage (NCF-FS). It brought together educators for a day of meaningful learning, collaboration, and professional growth. The programme aimed to equip teachers with practical insights into implementing the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and strengthening foundational learning in classrooms.
The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, setting a positive and purposeful tone for the day. Distinguished CBSE Resource Persons conducted the sessions, Dr Kaumudi Bhardwaj and Mr Vivek Bector, who guided participants through the key principles and objectives of the National Curriculum Framework for the Foundational Stage.
The workshop focused on creating joyful, inclusive, and engaging learning environments that place the child at the centre of the teaching-learning process. Through interactive discussions, collaborative group activities, case studies, and reflective exercises, teachers explored learner-centred pedagogy, competency-based education, experiential learning, and age-appropriate instructional strategies designed to nurture the holistic development of young learners.
