Suraj Singh Rawat, an Integrated Biotechnology student at Apeejay Stya University (ASU), Gurugram has had a journey that was both academically enriching and personally transformative. Alongside building a strong foundation in biotechnology, he served as the Sports Captain, developing leadership, teamwork, communication, and time-management skills. What skills are you building at Apeejay?
At Apeejay, I have developed technical knowledge in biotechnology along with leadership, communication, teamwork, problem-solving, event management, and time-management skills.
Do you have any hobbies and how does Apeejay support you in pursuing them?
Yes. I am passionate about football and sports. As the Sports Captain, Apeejay has given me opportunities to organise events, represent the university, and balance academics with extracurricular activities.

The faculty members are knowledgeable, supportive, and approachable. They encourage research, innovation, and critical thinking while guiding students academically and professionally.
