Recently, Apeejay School, Kharghar, successfully organised a Mathematics Quiz Competition for students of Classes IX to XII. The engaging academic event provided students with an enriching platform to showcase their mathematical aptitude, logical reasoning, problem-solving abilities, speed, and accuracy.
Designed to make Math more interactive and enjoyable, the competition encouraged students to apply their conceptual understanding in an exciting quiz-based format. Following the preliminary rounds, the finalists representing Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire, and Topaz Houses advanced to the final stage of the competition.
The final round featured four challenging and engaging segments: Find the Missing, Picture Perfect, Coding-Decoding, and Fast & Furious. Each round tested the participants on different aspects of mathematical thinking and required them to demonstrate quick decision-making, sharp observation, logical analysis, and accuracy under pressure.
The students participated with great enthusiasm and confidence, displaying strong teamwork and a healthy competitive spirit throughout the competition. The quiz also encouraged them to think beyond conventional classroom learning and approach mathematical problems from different perspectives.

After an exciting contest among the four Houses, Ruby House secured the First Position, emerging as the overall winner. Topaz House claimed the Second Position, while Sapphire House secured the Third Position. The performances reflected the students’ dedication, preparation, and ability to work collaboratively as a team.
The Mathematics Quiz Competition served as a valuable learning experience, reinforcing the idea that Mathematics can be both intellectually stimulating and enjoyable. It provided students with opportunities to strengthen their analytical and reasoning skills while building confidence in tackling challenging problems.
The event also highlighted the importance of co-curricular academic activities in nurturing curiosity and encouraging students to develop a deeper interest in different subjects. Through such competitions, learners are motivated to explore concepts beyond textbooks and develop skills that contribute to their overall growth.

The school congratulated all the participants for their enthusiastic participation and commended the winning Houses for their outstanding performance. The event concluded on a positive note, leaving students inspired to continue exploring the fascinating world of Math with greater confidence and enthusiasm.
