On the second day of “Psych Fiesta 2025”, students learnt the importance of counselling and meditation in life to live a balanced and fulfilling life.
The second day two witnessed the presence of Ms. Pranavcheet Kaur, Counselling Psychologist, who addressed the students one-on-one and interacted with them while sharing some coping up therapies with them.
Dr. Neerja Dhingra further highlighted that in these contemporary times, competition and a packed schedule has made everyone its victim. “In this scenario, taking a brief pause, finding time for one’s self is utmost necessary in order to calm down one’s nervous system and there is nothing better than meditation to attain this.”
Dr. Dhingra further asserted that it is commendable that people in our society think from this perspective and are making mental health as well their priority and learning to set the healthy boundaries that are must for their own well being.
Other than testing related to mental health counselling sessions and meditation; Mandala art, identifying personality from handwriting style, face painting, games and food stalls were also arranged for the students.
It is worth mentioning that not just students pursuing psychology as their major subject were part of this event, but others made the most of it as well.
