Dance, patriotism and talent shine at Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri
Students of Classes IX to XII enthral the audience with captivating solo performances during the school’s 80th Independence Day celebrations
The spirit of patriotism, creativity and youthful enthusiasm came alive at Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, as the school continued its 80th Independence Day celebrations with a vibrant Solo Dance Competition. Organised as part of the second day of the festivities, the event provided students with a platform to showcase their talent, confidence and artistic expression.
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of Classes IX to XII. Each participant enthralled the audience with captivating performances that blended graceful movements, expressive storytelling and energetic choreography. Colourful costumes, soulful music and confident stage presence added to the festive atmosphere, making the event an engaging celebration of creativity and patriotism.
The participants were evaluated on various parameters, including creativity, rhythm, expressions, coordination and overall presentation. After a keen assessment, Sejal of Class XI emerged as the winner, securing the First Position with an outstanding performance that earned widespread appreciation.
Kashwika of Class XI and Khanak of Class XI jointly secured the Second Position, impressing the judges and audience with their remarkable performances. The Third Position was jointly bagged by Jai of Class XI, Tanya of Class XI and Manya of Class IX. Their performances reflected confidence, passion and artistic excellence.
The winners were felicitated with certificates during the prize distribution ceremony, which was greeted with enthusiastic applause. All participants were also appreciated for their dedication, preparation and spirited involvement in the competition.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Dr Vineet Vasishtha congratulated the winners and participants on their commendable performances. He highlighted the importance of cultural activities in nurturing confidence, discipline, creativity and teamwork among students. He encouraged them to participate wholeheartedly in such opportunities, noting that these experiences contribute to the development of well-rounded personalities while strengthening values of unity, patriotism and national pride.
