Every sporting achievement begins with the courage to participate and the resolve to keep improving. This spirit was visible at the SGFI District Swimming Championship for Under 14 Girls and Boys, hosted by Apeejay School, Sector 15, Faridabad.
The championship brought together young swimmers from many schools. It gave participants an opportunity to test their ability in a competitive district event and represent their respective institutions.
The event also reflected the value of school sports in giving children a space to compete, learn and grow. Swimming demands focus, physical effort and steady practice. A district championship allows young participants to put these qualities into action.

District official attends the championship
Mr Basant Kumar, District Elementary Education Officer, graced the championship with his presence. His attendance marked the significance of the district-level event and the participation of school students in organised sports.
As the host, Apeejay School, Sector 15, Faridabad, welcomed the participating schools and conducted the championship for both girls and boys in the Under 14 category. The gathering created a shared competitive platform for swimmers from across the district.

Silver success for young swimmers
The occasion became especially memorable for Apeejay School when two Class VI students delivered a strong performance. Sanvi and Aryaman won silver in the 50 m Freestyle event.
Their result marked a proud moment for the school. Competing at the district level requires composure and determination, particularly for young swimmers facing participants from several schools.
The achievement also showed what children can accomplish when they remain committed to their sport. For Sanvi and Aryaman, the silver finish is an encouraging step in their sporting journey.
The school congratulated both swimmers on their performance and wished them continued success in their future endeavours. Their achievement may encourage other students to participate in sports, practise with purpose and approach competition with confidence.
