Recently, Apeejay School, Kharghar, held a Healthy Lifestyle Workshop for preparatory classes. The session focused on building early awareness around health and daily habits. It aimed to help young learners understand how small choices shape long-term well-being.

The workshop created a setting where learning felt both active and reflective. Students listened with attention and responded with curiosity. They asked questions, shared thoughts, and showed a clear interest in the topic. The environment remained lively, yet structured, allowing ideas to be absorbed without pressure.

The session helped children connect everyday actions with their impact on health. Simple concepts were introduced in a way that felt relevant to their routine. Students began to recognise how habits around food, activity, and rest influence their overall wellness. This early understanding formed the core of the workshop’s approach.

What stood out was the level of engagement. Students did not just listen; they interacted and reflected. A teacher noted that such sessions help children move beyond instruction and begin to think independently about their choices. This shift from passive learning to active thinking remains an important part of early education.

The workshop balanced information with experience. It did not rely only on explanation but encouraged participation. This made the learning more personal and easier to retain. The focus remained on building awareness rather than enforcing rules.

Such initiatives help shape a more mindful approach to daily living. When introduced early, these ideas tend to stay with students as they grow. The workshop at Apeejay School, Kharghar, reflected an effort to build that foundation, where simple habits gradually turn into a way of life.
