‘Biku and the dinosaur’: Short story by Sarvesh Nair, Apeejay School, Nerul

Once upon a time there lived a small squirrel named Biku. One day he was playing with a nut in the jungle. Suddenly, he saw a dinosaur running behind him. Biku ran and quickly hid behind a rock. Just then he looked around and got an idea. He took a rope that was lying on the ground and circled around the dinosaur multiple times.

The dinosaur got stuck and soon fell on the ground. This gave Biku some time to call his friends. All of Biku’s friends came fast at his call and helped him push a huge rock towards the dinosaur. As the rock fell on the dinosaur, the giant got crushed under its weight. This is how Biku saved himself and became famous in the entire jungle for his bravery.

Moral of the story- Precious gifts come in small packages.
