The festival of Baisakhi was celebrated with immense joy and enthusiasm at Apeejay School, Noida, by the students of Balvatika 3. The occasion brought with it a vibrant blend of cultural learning and creative expression, making it a memorable experience for the young learners.

To mark the significance of this harvest festival, a thoughtfully designed art and craft activity was organised. The students enthusiastically participated in creating corn-themed artwork using crayons. With bright shades of yellow and green, they carefully coloured their drawings, beautifully reflecting both their creativity and developing fine motor skills.

Adding a unique touch to their work, the children used crushed kite paper to paste over the corn, giving it a textured and realistic appearance. The activity not only encouraged artistic exploration but also helped the students understand the importance of crops and the essence of the harvest season in a simple and engaging manner.

The celebrations extended beyond the classroom activity, as the students immersed themselves in the festive spirit through music and dance. They joyfully listened to Baisakhi songs and performed energetic dance steps, filling the environment with excitement and cheer. Their enthusiasm was infectious, creating a lively and warm atmosphere throughout the school.

The celebration served as a delightful learning experience, blending culture, creativity, and fun. It provided students with an opportunity to connect with traditions while expressing themselves freely.

Overall, the Baisakhi celebration at the school was a heartwarming event that left both students and teachers with smiles and a deeper appreciation of the festival’s cultural significance.
