The CBSE Class X Result 2026 that was declared on April 15 saw an impressive turnout, with over 24 lakh students appearing for the exam. The overall pass percentage stood at 93.70%, reflecting a strong academic performance across the country. Girls once again outperformed boys, continuing a long-standing trend, with a pass percentage of 94.99% compared to 92.69% for boys. This marks the 27th consecutive year of girls leading the results.

Behind these numbers are individual stories of discipline, consistency, and resilience. Meet three such students from Apeejay School, Panchsheel ParkAaditya Singh (97%), Akshita Niranjan (96.8%), and Parth Agarwal (95.6%).

Speaking about his result, Aaditya shared that he is happy and satisfied with his result. “My main focus throughout the year was consistency. I made sure to study every day, revise regularly, and practise questions without long gaps. I started this routine right from the beginning of Class X, which helped me stay prepared,” this Computer Science engineering aspirant said.

He said that he received a lot of support from his teachers and family, and that made a big difference. “There was some pressure, especially since it was his first Board exam, but I tried to stay calm by staying regular with my revision and preparation. For the day of the exam, I relied on practising previous year questions and sample papers. Solving these helped me feel more confident and better prepared,” he stated.

Akshita is happy with her result as well. “I started my preparation early and stayed consistent. In the beginning, I studied for one to two hours daily, and as the exams came closer, I increased it to around four to five hours on most days. My teachers were extremely supportive, and I believe I did well because of their guidance. My parents also helped me stay calm and kept reminding me to just do what I could without stressing too much,’ this medical aspirant, who has chosen PCB, shared.

To relax, she spent time painting, which helped her manage stress. “My advice to other students would be not to worry too much about the results. Just focus on doing your best and stay consistent. On the day of the exam, I did not put pressure on myself with last-minute studying. I focused on staying calm and trusting my preparation,” she shared.

Parth, thrilled with the result, shared, “I give full credit to my teachers for their constant support. Whenever I had doubts, they were always available to help me. My study strategy was quite simple and structured. I would study two subjects at a time, take a break, and then return to studying again. This helped me stay focused without getting too tired.”

To manage stress, he spent time playing the guitar. “It really helped me relax and take my mind off studies for a while. On the day of the exam, my biggest support system was my family, especially my parents and grandparents. They kept encouraging me, and since I had done well in my pre-boards, I did not feel much pressure,” he said.

His advice to other students: Practice as many previous year question papers as possible. ”For Hindi, I would say that the material given by teachers is very important. For Social Studies, I strongly believe that students should read each and every line of the NCERT textbook carefully. If you understand the text well, it becomes much easier to score full marks,” he opined.
