The assembly at Apeejay Svran Global School, Faridabad, brought Krishna’s teachings to life
Recently, Apeejay Svran Global School, Faridabad, Sector 21 D, celebrated Janmashtami with devotion, joy and active participation from its young learners. The event commemorated the birth of Lord Krishna while helping students understand his timeless message of love, compassion and righteousness.
The celebration brought together prayer, music, dance and enactment. Each presentation introduced the children to an important aspect of the festival in a form they could understand and appreciate. It also gave them an opportunity to connect with Indian culture and values through meaningful participation.
A thoughtful beginning
The assembly commenced with a prayer and pledge, creating a calm and respectful atmosphere. Pre-primary students then presented soulful shlokas, adding a devotional note to the occasion.
A thoughtful speech on the relevance of Janmashtami followed. It explained the significance of the festival and drew attention to the valuable teachings of Lord Krishna.
