Educational excursions offer students an opportunity to connect classroom learning with places of historical and cultural significance. At Apeejay School, Pitampura, students from Classes IV, V, and VI explored this connection through trips to Agra and Amritsar. Both journeys brought together visits to important landmarks and activities that made the experience enjoyable.

Exploring Agra’s heritage
Students of Class IV travelled to Agra for a two-day educational trip. Their itinerary included Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal, where they gained insights into Mughal history, architecture, and heritage.
The visits gave the children an opportunity to see the monuments they had learned about beyond the classroom. Alongside the sightseeing, they enjoyed local shopping and spent time together during a lively DJ night and musical games. Delicious meals and a comfortable stay at Hotel Pushp Villa were also part of the experience.
The students returned with a deeper understanding of the places they visited and happy memories of their time in Agra.
Discovering Amritsar’s history and culture
Students of Classes V and VI, meanwhile, travelled to Amritsar. Their three-day excursion brought them closer to different aspects of Punjab’s history, culture, and traditions.

At the Wagah Border, students experienced a sense of patriotism, while their visit to the Golden Temple offered a moment of reverence and an understanding of spirituality. Visits to Jallianwala Bagh and the Partition Museum helped deepen their awareness of history. The Science Museum added another dimension to the journey by encouraging scientific curiosity.
At Sada Pind, the children explored village life and the rich cultural heritage of Punjab.
Together, the two excursions offered experiences that extended beyond textbooks. From Mughal monuments in Agra to historical and cultural sites in Amritsar, students returned with new knowledge and memories of learning together.
