CBSE Declares Class 10 Results 2026; Overall Pass Percentage at 93.70%

The Central Board of Secondary Education has announced the CBSE Class 10 Board Examination results for 2026 on April 15. This year, the overall pass percentage has been recorded at 93.70 per cent. Students who appeared for the examination can now access their results online through the official websites.

More than 25 lakh students took the Class 10 board examinations this year. As in previous years, girls have once again performed better than boys in terms of pass percentage. The pass rate among girls stands at 94.99 per cent, while boys recorded a pass percentage of 92.69 per cent.

The examination also witnessed a large number of students securing high scores. According to the official data released by the board, 2,21,574 students, which is approximately 8.96 per cent of the total candidates, scored above 90 per cent marks. In addition, 55,364 students, or about 2.24 per cent, achieved more than 95 per cent marks in the examination.

The Class 10 board examinations for 2026 were conducted between February 17 and March 11 at various centres across the country. To successfully clear the examination, students are required to obtain at least 33 per cent marks overall.

Students can check and download their results by visiting the official CBSE result portal. After opening the website, they need to click on the link for “Secondary School Examination (Class X) 2026” available under the results section. Candidates must then enter their roll number, school number, admit card ID, date of birth, and the security pin displayed on the screen. Once these details are submitted, the digital marksheet will appear on the screen, which can be downloaded and saved for future reference.

Students are advised to keep a copy of their scorecard until the official mark sheets are issued by their respective schools.
