To mark Mother’s Day, Apeejay School, Sector 15, Faridabad, thoughtfully curated a programme that brought together students, educators, and mothers in a shared moment of appreciation. The celebration reflected not only gratitude but also a growing awareness of emotional well-being and the role families play in shaping young minds.
The day unfolded with a green welcome, setting a calm and inclusive tone for the gathering. This was followed by the ceremonial lamp lighting and an invocation, creating a reflective start. A fusion song added a creative note, while students expressed their affection through a vibrant dance performance that resonated with the audience.

In the days leading up to the event, preparations had already begun to take shape. There was visible effort behind the scenes, with students and staff working together to create thoughtful moments for mothers. Small gestures and quiet expressions of gratitude became part of the build-up, reflecting the same warmth that mothers bring into everyday life.
The programme also included the Principal’s address, which placed the celebration in a broader context. The emphasis remained on recognising the emotional labour of mothers and their constant presence in a child’s development. This was followed by a workshop on mental health and well-being, offering practical insights into managing stress and maintaining balance within families.

Teachers noted that such engagements help strengthen the connection between the school and home. Students, on the other hand, found a space to express appreciation in ways that extended beyond routine interactions.
The celebration stood as a reminder that schools today are not only academic spaces but also environments that nurture empathy and understanding. Events like these contribute to a culture where emotional well-being is valued alongside achievement, shaping a more balanced learning experience for students.
