All labour that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance goes a saying. Keeping this in mind, the spirit of dignity of labour and gratitude towards workers was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, during the Inter-house English Skit Competition organised for the middle classes on the occasion of Labour Day. The event aimed to sensitize students to the invaluable contributions of workers in society while nurturing their creativity, confidence, and theatrical abilities.
Students from all four houses, Vivekananda, Kabir, Gautam, and Nanak, participated wholeheartedly, presenting engaging and thought-provoking skits based on the theme of Labour Day. Through meaningful performances, the participants highlighted the struggles, dedication, and sacrifices of workers from different walks of life and conveyed the importance of acknowledging their efforts with respect and gratitude.


The stage came alive with impactful dialogues, expressive acting, and emotionally moving presentations. Each house showcased remarkable teamwork, creativity, and stage presence, making the competition both entertaining and socially relevant. The performances effectively conveyed strong messages about equality, empathy, and the dignity associated with every profession, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.
Among the participating teams, Vivekananda House emerged victorious with a powerful and compelling presentation that deeply resonated with both the judges and the audience. Kabir House secured the second position with an engaging and meaningful skit, while Gautam House claimed the third position for their commendable performance. All participants were appreciated for their dedication, confidence, and sincere efforts in making the event a grand success.


The competition was meticulously organised under the guidance of Activity In-Charge Mrs Poonam Sharma, whose dedicated efforts ensured the smooth and successful conduct of the programme. The enthusiasm and creativity displayed by the students reflected the school’s commitment to providing holistic education and fostering socially responsible citizens.
The school Principal, Dr Vineet Vasishtha applauded the participants for their outstanding performances and emphasised the importance of respecting every form of labour. He appreciated the organising team for conducting such a meaningful event and encouraged students to continue participating in activities that promote social awareness and human values.
