Apeejay College of Fine Arts (ACFA), Jalandhar, organised a vibrant and heartfelt farewell ceremony to bid adieu to its outgoing students, celebrating their journey with warmth, pride, and elegance. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra as the Chief Guest, whose inspiring words added depth and meaning to the occasion.
The ceremony commenced with a gracious welcome by Diya Talwar (BFA Semester VI) and Jia (BBA Semester IV), who warmly acknowledged Dr. Dhingra’s dynamic leadership and constant encouragement. Head Boy Akshat Sharma and Head Girl Yuvika presented a bouquet as a token of respect, setting a tone of gratitude and admiration.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Neerja Dhingra delivered an inspiring message that resonated deeply with the students. She described farewells as significant transitions where memories blend with aspirations for the future. Emphasising the holistic nature of education at Apeejay, she remarked that learning extends beyond academics to shaping character, creativity, and resilience. In her words, “the true measure of success lies not only in achievements, but in the values you carry forward—integrity, empathy, and the courage to grow through every new beginning.” She encouraged students to embrace the future with confidence while upholding the institution’s legacy.

The cultural segment brought energy and excitement to the event. Students including Taranpreet Singh, Pratham, Shivam, Vishnu, Mannat, Dilpreet, Saanjh, Reet, and Lakshmi lit up the stage with a lively Bhangra performance that captivated the audience. Rahul and Daud Gill further added charm to the evening with their melodious singing, leaving everyone enthralled.
In their farewell address, Head Boy Akshat Sharma and Head Girl Yuvika expressed heartfelt gratitude towards their mentors and peers. They shared that the values of discipline, humility, and perseverance instilled by the college would continue to guide them in their future endeavours.
One of the most anticipated highlights of the evening was the modelling segment, which showcased confidence, style, and individuality. Following this, Ms. Parmeet Kaur was crowned Miss Apeejay, while Kunwar Armaan received the title of Mr. Apeejay. Pearl was awarded Miss Elegant, and Ribhav Batra was named Mr. Handsome. Krishna (Boys) and Diya Ahuja (Girls) were recognised as the Best Dressed, while Yuvika won Best Ramp Walk and Jasnoor was honoured as Miss Cynosure.





The winners were felicitated with sashes and gifts by Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra, Dr. Simkee Dev, and Ms. Garima Arora. Expressing their joy, the titleholders shared that the college had not only nurtured their talents but also given wings to their dreams—an experience they would cherish forever.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Mannat (BCA Semester IV) and Durvish (BBA Semester IV), who expressed gratitude for the opportunity to organise the event and pledged to carry forward the values and inspiration gained from their seniors.
The farewell stood as a beautiful reflection of the institution’s commitment to holistic development, leaving behind cherished memories and inspiring students to step confidently into the next chapter of their lives.
