The preschool serves as a miniature society, introducing children to the art of socialisation. “In the cocoon of their first school experiences, children learn to share, cooperate, and communicate with peers, nurturing the seeds of teamwork and interpersonal relationships,” says Dr Neha whose son Hamdaan studies at Rhythms Kinderworld, GK-II.

Excerpts from the interview

How did you choose Rhythms for your young one?

I got to know about this preschool through a reference from a friend. Infrastructure-wise also, the school is conducive for my three-and-a-half-year-old child. The environment is apt for the young children studying there.

What is the best part about this preschool?

The whole school is designed in such a way that is sustainable for these young toddlers. It’s so thoughtful — from building a wash basin at a lower height to washrooms that are comfortable to use. These are suitable for young children. The students and teacher ratio is appropriate which I feel forms the base for higher education.

How are the teachers here?

As such I have not faced any problem so far. It’s almost one year since my child has completed Rhythms. The teachers here are good, polite, helpful, and caring. This goes a long way in making a difference to each young one’s growth and development.

Special teaching techniques teachers use here.

I would like to especially mention that this school shares pics and videos of our young ones doing and learning new things periodically with us. They maintain such great transparency which is commendable. We as parents feel rest assured and excited to watch our child growing manifold in such a positive place. The teachers are also open to communication at all times.

Do you have plans to continue with Apeejay in the future?

I do have plans to continue with the same group of schools because Apeejay for me means – Temple of Learning. But right now, we are in a dilemma to decide which one to choose – CBSE or IB Board. There are still two years to go till we make our final decision, but whatever it is my child will continue with this conglomerate.

Any special memories that you recall from Rhythms?

My child had a tough time adjusting to school in the beginning. And then through continuous perseverance by the teachers, my son adjusted, and over time it has become enjoyable for him. Being a mother, I am very particular about my child; the teachers here have always lived up to my expectations and never let me down.
