Apeejay’s Dwarka campus unleashes creativity at grand annual fest “Synergy 2024”

Apeejay’s Dwarka campus was buzzing with excitement as everyone from Apeejay School of Management (ASM) and Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication (AIMC) gathered to celebrate the much-awaited grand opening of the annual fest “Synergy 2024”. 

Increasing the adrenaline rush of all the participants, Synergy 2024 commenced with an electrifying flash mob performance by the students of ASM and AIMC, who set the tone for the two-day celebration of talent, creativity and collaboration.  

The spectacular opening ceremony was graced by Dr. R P Hooda, Emeritus Professor, Dr. Etinder Pal Singh, Deputy Director at ASM, Prof. Sajal Mukherjee, Director at AIMC, and faculty members from both the institutes.  

Themed on “Sustainability”, the fest aimed to highlight the power of sustainable practices via exhilarating performances of participants. Bringing together 89 esteemed colleges from
Delhi-NCR and around, Synergy 2024 received an outstanding registration of more than 600 students.

Over the span of two days, students demonstrated exemplary teamwork and sportsmanship as they participated in 17 exhilarating competitions. These competitions included cultural as well as technical events such as rangoli making, ad-mad show, treasure hunt, bulls and bears, and so on. Further, students also participated in outdoor activities like volleyball, basketball, tug of war, plank and squats competitions, etc.    

Another highlight of Synergy 2024 was the plethora of cultural performances that showcased the rich heritage and diversity of India. From traditional folk dances to contemporary music, the stage came alive with the vibrant colours and rhythms of the country’s cultural tapestry. 

In addition to the above-mentioned, students also participated in nukkad natak, LAN gaming/hackathon, face painting, etc. These competitions provided a platform for students to showcase their skills, creativity, and knowledge in front of a supportive audience.

The fashion show held on the second day was a splendid showcase of art and design, in which students dazzled the audience with their innovative designs and stylish ensembles. From traditional attire to avant-garde fashion statements, the runway was alive with creativity and flair. 

Synergy 2024 was not just a celebration of talent and creativity; it was a platform to unleash hidden skills. The event featured several initiatives aimed at raising awareness about mportant social issues and promoting sustainable practices. The climax of the two-day festivity was the grand prize distribution. While Shivom Gupta and Sujata Sharma bagged the title of Mr. and Miss Synergy 2024 from ASM, Kushagra Sharma and Vrinda Sharma bagged these title from AIMC. Further, Preteek Dash from ASM and Rahat from AIMC were honoured with Mr. and Ms. Personality title.

As Synergy 2024 drew its curtains after two-days of energetic performances, this reflected yet another successful edition of this grand annual fest. Through Synergy 2024, the institute reaffirmed its commitment to fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration among its students, inspiring them to reach new heights of achievement and success.

Expressing his delight to be part of Synergy 2024, first-year MBA student Avinash highlighted. “This is my first time and I am very excited to have got this platform to showcase my talent.” 

Another first-year MBA student Soumya Agarwal said, “I am the coordinator for the fashion show and it has been a roller-coaster experience. The theme is sustainability, and as management students, we have endeavoured to showcase the main theme via different
sub-categories. The idea is to further promote the importance of sustainable  practices.”
