‘The student-teacher partnership honours the power of appreciation’

In the bustling corridors of educational institutes, amidst the flurry of assignments, exams, and extracurricular activities, there exists a moment of pause. A special moment dedicated to honouring the pillars of learning – the teachers.

Special assemblies, where students appreciate teachers and vice-versa, hold profound significance in the educational ecosystem, fostering a culture of gratitude, respect, and collaboration. To ensure a positive learning environment around, Apeejay School, Model Town organised a special morning assembly.

It was a delightful surprise for the students which set the tone for a day filled with appreciation and positivity. The officiating Principal, Priyanka Grover, and teachers extended a warm welcome to the parents and students that was met with gratitude from both. To add to the excitement, an impromptu activity was organised for the students, inviting them to share their thoughts and impressions of the first day back at school.

Students took the opportunity to share their feelings about the school. With pens and paper in their hands, they wrote about how thankful they were for the new academic year, the supportive atmosphere, and the amazing teachers at the school.

Their writings showed a range of emotions, expressing their love for the school, teachers, and everything it offers.

The school assembly saw the students’ efforts which were highly praised and celebrated. The officiating Principal commended those who shared genuine emotions in their writing. They were presented with smiley badges as a tangible token of gratitude and recognition for their meaningful contributions. As the badges were pinned onto their uniforms, smiles lit up faces, echoing the shared joy and pride.
