Teachers should foster critical thinking, encourage collaboration, and provide support tailored to individual needs to help students succeed academically and personally. “At this school my child is benefitting from a balance of guidance and independence, allowing her to explore her interests while also preparing for higher education or career,” expresses Pawan Laddha whose daughter Avni studies in class XII at Apeejay School, Nerul

Excerpts from the interview:

My daughter Avni had opted for PCB in her class XI. She aspires to become a doctor.

All her teachers are extremely supportive and keep motivating her. I have had a wonderful experience with all the staff members here since her junior  elementary level days. Soon, in 2025, she will pass out from school and she often tells me that she will miss her teachers.

Avni has received a great exposure at Apeejay in terms of various cultural activities. Her participation in activities like quiz and debate competitions which helped her to open her world wide view and geo-political knowledge. Her participation in one of the UN Assembly event and Swami Vivekanand trivia quiz competition helped her learn so many new things.

There is absolutely no denying in this. I think after a certain period of time, children listen to their teachers more and consider them as their role models. It often happens that parents deal with their kids in a soft way and pamper them, but since teachers keep a very neutral and balanced approach, it become useful in making children disciplined and sincere.

We firmly believe in the saying – simple living, high thinking. I always teach my children that there are no shortcuts in life, to achieve success you must work hard with full dedication. Everything in life should be done ethically and one should never cheat.

This school enjoys a strong goodwill over other schools in our city. Though we do have other schools, but Apeejay remains irreplaceable with respect to giving out the best of pedagogical curriculum.

My daughter has grown into a mature and an independent child and realises the importance of having a good successful career. She is also a very focused child and is managing everything on her own. If anytime any issues comes up we are there to resolve it for her.
