Teachers here are engaging, patient, and supportive and foster a positive learning environment, encourage participation, and adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles,” shares Amrita Rao whose daughter Annika studies in class VI at Apeejay School, Kharghar

Excerpts from the interview

How has your child’s journey been in Apeejay so far?

Annika is in class VI now and is doing well. She has become a more confident and an outgoing person. Her interpersonal relationships with her teachers and peers have helped in improving her communication and social skills.

What are your daughter’s future plans?

She is right now still young to take that important decision of her life. Though she has varied interests so we will cross the bridge once we get there.

How are the teachers here?

All the staff is very supportive and extremely professional. They handle the students well. For my daughter specially, all her teachers have thoroughly worked on her weak areas and made her better.

How is the infrastructure and facilities at school?

I am completely satisfied as a parent. Apeejay is one of the top institutes in kharghar. I haven’t faced any issues so far. I feel the school administration is really efficient and the school premises are well kept and always hygienically maintained.

Why did you select Apeejay for both your children?

This school holds a great reputation and everyone around us; friends and family have given us the best feedback for it. Also, Apeejay is in close proximity of our home, so that helps in easy travel. In case of any issues, we can reach her within minutes. This aspect reassures her and us as parents.

What kind of activities does Annika enjoy at school?

She is really fond of dancing and Sports Guru club there. All these activities keep her busy and help in her holistic development.

Do you agree with the adage – school is the second home for a child?

I believe in maintaining a healthy balance between school and home. We, as parents, have to fulfill our role and responsibilities and once the child is in school, he/she can further develop under mentorship of teachers.

Define your parenting style.

I am an extremely strict parent with regards to study. I want both my children to focus on academics and make good careers. I always make sure that none of them develop complacency when it comes to studies.
