Anubha SinghThis vivacious young girl is eagerly exploring her manifold creativities whilst keeping the glory of humanity alive in her. Meet Aditi Shukla, currently pursuing her degree from Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication (AIMC). In a candid interview she shares her passion, inclination and love for writing. She has scribbled several poems, articles for our news forum many a times and now this budding writer wants to be at the pinnacle of all her desires someday.
Tell us about yourself.
I’m Aditi, also known as boundless Aditi! I resonate deeply with the term “boundless” because I believe in the infinite power of words and creativity. Since childhood, I’ve been driven to carve out a distinct identity for myself amidst the vast sea of humanity. At present, I’m passionately pursuing that goal, fueled by my boundless imagination and determination.
Where are you recently placed?
At the moment, I haven’t settled into any specific place. Instead, I thrive in the dynamic realm of freelancing, collaborating on various platforms and projects that ignite my creative spark.
Tell us about your college life.
My college life has been a vibrant tapestry of experiences! From confidently facing the camera to delivering captivating speeches on the microphone, and even spearheading exhilarating film-making ventures with my incredible team, every moment has been a lesson in growth and self-discovery.
Share a few nostalgic memories from AIMC.
Oh, reminiscing about AIMC always brings a smile to my face! I’ll never forget the exhilarating rush of hosting my first seminar, all thanks to the unwavering support and encouragement from Mudita Ma’am. Stepping onto the stage of AIMC’s auditorium was a defining moment that fuelled my passion for public speaking.
How are the teachers at AIMC?
The teachers at AIMC are nothing short of extraordinary! Their warmth, guidance, and unwavering support create an environment where students can truly thrive. Personally, Mudita Ma’am holds a special place in my heart for her mentorship and belief in my potential.
What is your dream and goal in life?
My dreams are as boundless as my spirit! Firstly, I aspire to grace the screens as the face of a prominent channel, captivating audiences with my charisma and storytelling prowess. Secondly, I envision establishing an NGO dedicated to uplifting both senior citizens and our furry friends, because compassion knows no bounds. And lastly, on a lighter note, I harbour a secret ambition to conquer the Bigg Boss stage with my unique charm and wit!
Your comments on the brain drain trend.
As a student, the brain drain trend is a poignant concern that weighs heavily on my mind. Witnessing talented individuals leave their home countries in pursuit of greener pastures abroad is disheartening, as it signifies a loss of invaluable expertise and innovation for their communities. It’s imperative for governments and institutions to address this trend by fostering environments that incentivise skilled individuals to remain and contribute to the growth and prosperity of their homeland.
How did college help you hone your skills?
College served as a nurturing ground for honing my skills and passions, guiding me towards avenues where I could flourish. Whether it was refining my writing prowess or perfecting my on-screen presence, AIMC provided the platform and guidance necessary for me to excel. Through their unwavering support, I was able to cultivate my talents and embark on a journey of self-improvement.
Any message for the students of the university.
To my fellow students, I extend my heartfelt wishes for success and fulfilment in your individual journeys. Let’s stand together, support each other, and strive to make our dreams a reality. Remember, the sky’s the limit when we dare to dream abundantly!
