CLAT 2025 registration starts today

Registration for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025 begins today, July 15, 2024. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for this essential exam until October 15, 2024, on the official website: consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The CLAT 2025 examination will be held on December 1, 2024, in an offline, written format.

This exam is crucial for admission to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programs at 22 National Law Universities (NLUs) and other participating universities.

CLAT 2025: Eligibility Criteria

For the UG program, candidates must have passed the 10+2 or an equivalent exam with at least 45 percent marks (40 percent for reserved classes). For the PG program, candidates need an LLB degree with at least 50 percent marks (45 percent for reserved classes). There is no age limit for either program. Candidates appearing for their qualifying exams in March/April 2025 are also eligible to apply.

CLAT 2025: Documents Required

Candidates will need the following documents to register:

  • 1. A recent passport-sized photograph
  • 2. Signature
  • 3. Category certificate (if applicable)
  • 4. PWD certificate (if applicable)
  • 5. Domicile certificate (if applicable)

Steps to Register for CLAT 2025

  1. Visit the Official Website: Go to consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
  2. Register: Provide the necessary details and verify through an OTP.
  3. Complete Registration: Upload the required documents.
  4. Pay the Application Fee: The fee is Rs 4000 for General, OBC, PWD, NRI, PIO, and OCI candidates, and Rs 3500 for SC and ST candidates.
  5. Submit the Form: Submit the completed form and print the confirmation page for future reference.
