Teachers play a crucial role in the development and well-being of kids at school. “This school maintains regular and open communication with parents about the child’s progress, behaviour, and any other concerns,” shares Dr Akhtar Rashid Wani whose daughter Adeena studies in class III at Apeejay School, Faridabad.
Read on to know how teachers here support social and emotional development of students by teaching and modelling social skills like sharing, cooperation, and empathy.
Why did you select Apeejay for admission?
Actually before moving to Faridabad, we were in South Delhi and my daughter was studying in Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park. Later when we moved to this part of the city, I decided to continue with the same school and enrolled her in class III since I have been thoroughly happy with this institute.
How are the teachers here?
I am extremely happy with the teachers here because I see how my child is so comfortable and cheerful around them. They are very interactive and put efforts to clear even the smallest doubts of students here. The best part is that the staff here gives equal chances to all students to outshine themselves.
How is the school infrastructure and facilities?
The school has built a grand auditorium recently and the school area is filled with lush green trees and a huge field.
Which extracurricular activities does Adeena enjoy here?
My daughter has enrolled herself in Sports Guru now to actively participate in various sports.

How has your daughter’s growth been here so far?
Since me and my wife are not from a Hindi speaking background, I was initially apprehensive about how Adeena will cope up with the language. But to my surprise, the Hindi teacher here is extremely patient and supportive and made all the efforts to make her learn this language.
Do you feel Apeejay is like a second home for your child?
Definitely, why not! I believe a child’s maximum learning is from school since they spent a major chunk of their time here. I can definitely say that my daughter has changed positively in this school.
