Can you tell us why you chose Apeejay School, Kharghar for Arunita’s education?

Arunita is now in Senior KG. Both my husband and I have demanding careers and so, finding a school that not only offers a CBSE curriculum but also emphasises English proficiency and overall student well-being was crucial. We wanted a school that would nurture her academically and socially, providing a miniature society where she could learn to interact with others effectively. Can you tell us about a specific moment where you noticed a change in Arunita’s confidence, perhaps an instance where she surprised you?

Sure! During the pandemic, Arunita was initially wary of people coming to our door, like delivery boys. She would get anxious and uncomfortable. But as she settled into her time at Apeejay School post COVID, I saw a remarkable change in her demeanour. One instance that stands out is when she confidently interacted with others during a cultural programme at school. Seeing her stand on stage, delivering a vote of thanks with such poise, was truly surprising and heartwarming. It showed me how much she had grown in confidence, despite the uncertainties brought by the pandemic.

Could you share some insights into Arunita’s interests and activities at school?

Arunita has a passion for dancing, painting, and music, with a keen interest in mathematics as well. While she enjoys academic pursuits, her true joy lies in artistic expression and rhythmic movement. The school has encouraged her diverse interests, contributing to her overall development.

How would you describe Arunita’s relationship with her teachers and her attachment to the school?

Arunita shares a special bond with her teachers, particularly Sudeshna ma’am. Their guidance and support have made Apeejay feel like a second home to her. Despite the initial morning grumbles, her enthusiasm for school reflects the nurturing environment she experiences there. As parents, we find comfort in knowing that she is in good hands, allowing us to focus on our respective careers with peace of mind.
