The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) Undergraduate 2024 exam began on May 15, 2024, with over 16 lakh students registered to participate. However, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the exams scheduled for May 15 in Delhi due to unavoidable circumstances. The rescheduled date for these exams in Delhi is May 29, and revised admit cards will be issued on the official website, exam.nta.ac.in. The affected subjects include Chemistry (306), Biology (304), English (101), and General Test (501).

For the CUET 2024, specific dress code guidelines have been outlined. Male candidates are advised to wear simple and light clothes suitable for the weather, along with slippers or sandals with low heels. They should avoid wearing hoodies, jackets, belts, metallic items, and sleeve clothes. Similarly, women candidates should opt for light and comfortable attire, along with slippers or sandals with low heels. They are instructed to avoid headgear, scarves, jewellery, accessories, and henna or tattoos on the body.

Candidates who wear such clothing or objects of faith are required to arrive at the exam centre at least two hours before the final reporting time for adequate frisking. Those with suspected devices concealed within items of faith may not be permitted to bring them into the exam hall. Any deviation from the dress code due to unavoidable circumstances like medical reasons requires special approval from the NTA.

To download the CUET 2024 admit card, candidates must visit the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/, and enter their login credentials (application number and date of birth). The admit card will display exam details such as date, time, and venue. Admit cards are mandatory for entry into the examination hall.

The CUET UG 2024 is being conducted across multiple days and in three shifts per day. It is being offered in several languages and across 380 cities, including 26 cities outside India.
