Paras Raina works as the Assistant Director at Ernst & Young Private Limited. His son Kriday Raina is a nursery student at Apeejay School, Greater Noida. In a brief interview, Mr. Raina lists his reasons for choosing the school for his son and also appreciates the whole-hearted involvement of the school staff in the overall development of all students. Edited excerpts:

Why did you choose Apeejay Greater Noida over other schools for Kriday’s admission?

I initially had selected a couple schools when we were planning Kriday’s admission. After visiting all the schools, I found Apeejay Greater Noida’s education concept very unique. The theme-based curriculum they shared with us at the school was very innovative. I wanted my child to participate in all extracurricular activities apart from studies. Also, I was planning to shift to an area near to the school.

Please tell us a bit about Kriday and take us through his progress at school?

Kriday is very mischievous. He got a lot of pampering at home and so, we were concerned as to how he would adapt at school and we also thought that he would cry while going to the school. But his class teacher Nisha ma’am is an amazing  teacher. The way she gels with the little students is the USP of the school. Kriday has imbibed a lot of discipline, good habits and etiquettes from the school. I have seen a lot of development in him since the past four months. Recently, he has started identifying colours.

Are the teachers engaging well with the students?

There is no doubt about that. Nisha ma’am, the class teacher, is a brilliant teacher. We are confident about sending our child to the school because we know he is in such good hands.

What is the best thing about the school?

The way the class teacher manages the students, especially the one to one ratio is commendable. Also, the way Principal ma’am looks into the school facilities is very nice. She always ensures that every student gets equal importance in class.
