The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce the Class 10 Session 2 Board Examination Results 2026 shortly. According to reports, the results are likely to be declared during the second week of June 2026, bringing relief and anticipation to lakhs of students who appeared for the exam.

Once released, students will be able to access their results through the official CBSE website. In addition, provisional marksheets will also be available via DigiLocker and SMS services, ensuring multiple options for candidates to check their scores conveniently.

To download the result, students need to visit the official CBSE website, click on the Class 10 Board Examination 2026 (Second Phase) Result link, and enter their roll number, school number, admit card ID, and date of birth. After submitting the details, the digital marksheet will be displayed on the screen and can be downloaded for future reference.

The session 2 exams were conducted from May 15 to May 21, 2026. This marked the first implementation of CBSE’s dual-exam framework, introduced under the board’s revised assessment system for secondary school students. The initiative aims to provide greater flexibility and an additional opportunity for students to improve their academic performance.

The second exam cycle witnessed significant participation from students across the country. CBSE received approximately 6.7 lakh applications for the session. Of these, more than 5.25 lakh students registered to improve their scores from the first exam cycle, while over 85,000 candidates appeared for compartment exams. Some students were registered under both categories.

The introduction of the dual-exam system is considered a major reform in CBSE’s assessment structure, offering students a second chance to enhance their results and successfully complete subjects where improvement is required.
