‘Instead of a daunting interview, children’s admission at Apeejay Greater Noida is based on friendly interaction’

Rekha Singh enrolled her daughter Ananya in nursery this year at Apeejay International Greater Noida. The mother–who has to devote her time to taking care of her recently born second baby–is happy that her elder daughter has learned to complete her school assignments independently. She says the teachers have successfully developed Ananya’s interest in learning. Read on to know what made her opt for Apeejay and what her experience with the school has been so far:

What made you think Apeejay International School, Greater Noida, would be the right choice for your daughter?

We recently shifted from Delhi to Greater Noida. Like any other parent, we wanted to enroll our daughter in the best school in the area. Apeejay schools that are located in Delhi are quite well-known and we had heard positive feedback about them. Besides, some of my colleagues in my previous job were alumni of Apeejay. What particularly impressed me were the leadership qualities that the school instilled in people. Apeejay provides exposure to various co-curricular activities as well which is an essential practice to nurture students. Not to mention the values they inculcate. While my daughter qualified for admission in other schools as well, we picked Apeejay.  

What was the admission process like?

What I loved the most about the interview process for my child was that it was based on interaction rather than a typical question-answer round as is seen in many schools. This shows Apeejay’s warm and considerate nature towards young kids. It also does not unnerve a child and instead makes him or her very feel comfortable in a new environment.

Do you personally interact with the faculty on a regular basis?

It is mostly Ananya’s father who attends parent-teacher meetings as I have to take care of my newborn. The teachers always guide parents by sharing with them effective parenting tips. This has proved to be really helpful in grooming our child.

Tell us what you think about the way teachers conduct classes.

They are interactive and engaging; Ananya’s learning journey has been seamless, and she is thoroughly enjoying it. There is no burden on my child. She has developed that sense of discipline to study and complete her holiday homework.

Have you noticed any particular improvement in your daughter?

She has started enacting rhymes while reciting!

How well does the school ensure children’s safety and security?

This is a very important concern for all parents, and it is taken care of very nicely by Apeejay. For instance, we can track their school bus via GPS. Besides, the teachers are very prompt in addressing all our concerns.
