JEE Advanced 2026 Provisional Answer Key Released; Objection Window Opens

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has released the provisional answer key for JEE Advanced 2026 on May 25. Candidates who appeared for the engineering entrance examination can now access and download the answer key through the official JEE Advanced website.

To view the provisional answer key, candidates need to log in using their registration number, date of birth, and registered mobile number. The answer key has been made available online in PDF format, allowing students to compare their responses and estimate their probable scores in the examination.

Earlier, IIT Roorkee had published the JEE Advanced 2026 response sheets on May 21 through the candidate portal. The response sheet enables candidates to review the answers marked during the exam, while the answer key provides the officially correct responses for all questions asked in both papers.

Students can download the answer key by visiting the official JEE Advanced website, selecting the relevant answer key link on the homepage, entering the required credentials, and downloading the PDF after logging in.

Alongside the release of the provisional answer key, IIT Roorkee has also activated the objection facility for candidates. Students who identify discrepancies or believe there are errors in the provisional answers can submit challenges online through the official portal.

The objection window will remain open from May 25 to May 26. Candidates are advised to raise concerns, if any, within the stipulated deadline, as no requests will be entertained after the closure of the challenge period.

Following the review of all objections submitted by candidates, IIT Roorkee will release the final answer key on June 1. The JEE Advanced 2026 results will also be announced on the same day. The final answer key will be treated as the basis for preparing and declaring the examination results.
