Describing G20 as a moment of potential and encouraging individuals to embrace the upcoming Summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged the citizens of Delhi to remain resilient in the face of any inconveniences that might arise due to the event’s preparations.

After his visit to Bengaluru, during which he commended ISRO scientists, the PM received what BJP President JP Nadda referred to as a “people’s reception” at Delhi’s Palam airport.

“The world’s confidence and interest in India have grown. We are soon going to be presented with a fresh opportunity as a nation, particularly for the residents of Delhi. This opportunity comes in the form of the G20 Summit,” expressed PM Modi. “From 5-15 September, there will be a lot of inconvenience, I apologise for that in advance. These are our guests…traffic rules will be changed, we will be stopped from going to several places but some things are necessary…,” he added.

“The entire country is the host of the G20 Summit, but guests are coming to Delhi. The residents have a special responsibility to make the G20 Summit a success. They have to ensure that the reputation of the nation is not affected one bit,” emphasised the PM.

The G20 Summit will be held in the Capital from 9 – 10 September. It is likely to be attended by more than 30 heads of states and top officials from the European Union and invited guest countries and 14 heads of international organisations.
